The firm of Ekaterina Guryanova, the official wife of the notorious Kremlin oligarch lobbyist Pavel Ivlev, has filed bankruptcy. At the same time, P. Ivlev does not sense a need for finances and continues to flirt behind his wife’s back—with none other than a fake «human rights defender» recognised by Latvia as a national security threat.
Phantom companies avoid paying taxes
The limited liability company «Minute Clinic» owed 66,233 euros in taxes as of February 2024. On February 17, the Riga City Court announced the enterprise’s insolvency procedure and appointed Sintija Karstā as administrator.
Ekaterina Guryanova owns 6.21683% of the capital shares of «Minute Clinic» as an individual. She also owns an additional 5.54429% through the company, «DS RE,» in which she holds a 10.06247% share.
However, it is worth paying attention to the company J.Taylor LV. According to the Register of Enterprises, this company, wholly owned by Ekaterina Guryanova, had no official activities in 2023.
It should also be highlighted that the Ivlev-Guryanova family’s Jurmala property on Bulduru Avenue, 51, is owned by a Virgin Islands corporation (Britu Tortola, Trident Chambers, P.O.Box 146, Road Town) called «J.Taylor Jurmala Project Ltd.» The representative office of this company in Latvia was closed in 2021. The only legal entity was a 1948-born Russian citizen named Zoia Babenko.
The legal address Trident Chambers, P.O.Box 146, Road Town is a standard «dump.» This information is easily accessible in the «Offshore Leaks Database» project. As a result, the Ivlev-Guryanova couple’s activities in Latvia have raised suspicions of money laundering.
Is the «Ingermanland» circus serving oligarchs and Russian special services?
In business, like in politics, Pavel Ivlev prefers to simulate activity. For example, the House of Ingermanland in Narva, about which we previously wrote in the newspaper «Why does the lobbyist of the Kremlin oligarchs need the Free Ingermanland Platoon,» is merely a front. As for the soldiers, this gallant army of two, according to optimistic estimates, arrived in Ukraine, losing around half of its members in restaurants, pubs, and bus stops. All of P. Ivlev’s political projects are substantially similar. However, imitating vigorous activity enables him to attend opposition events. But is he functioning only in the interests of the billionaires or as an agent of Putin’s special services? Pavel and his wife are known to possess property in Moscow, thus it looks that he benefits significantly from this. Despite being convicted and on the wanted list, he continued to practice law in Russia for a long time. Until 2020, Pavel Ivlev was a co-founder of the law company «ALM FELDMANS.» After it was liquidated, he resurfaced on the Ministry of Justice record as a working lawyer at «Kaganer and Partners.»

To fill the restaurant table and bed, Pavel had to stand up for the lady. He recruited lawyer Kristīne Bogdanova, who raced to assist him without any agreement with the client.

Unfortunately, Bogdanova was unable to save her client. The Latvian State Security Service has suggested that Minister of Internal Affairs Rihards Kozlovskis add lawyer Maria Chashchilova on the «blacklist» of foreigners barred from entering the country. According to «Novaya Gazeta Europe«, Chashchilova was transported to the migration service.
